FAQ
Are the prints signed?
Yes. Every print is signed and numbered by Mital Patel.
How long until my piece arrives?
Production takes three to four weeks. Shipping time depends on your location and the size of the work.
How does shipping work, and what does it cost?
Prints ship from the print studio, fully insured. Freight depends on the size of the work and where it is going, so we quote it for every order. At checkout, choose "Freight quoted after order." You pay for the artwork, then we email your freight quote and a secure invoice, and production begins once freight is paid. Some works on display at events can be collected in person: choose Pickup when it is offered.
When does the book ship, and what does shipping cost?
States of Nature is a pre-order. Books ship from Texas in December 2026. Shipping is calculated at checkout and paid by the buyer. Online checkout currently serves the United States; for delivery elsewhere, get in touch before ordering.
Can I cancel a pre-order?
Yes. A pre-order can be cancelled for a full refund until it ships. Get in touch before your order ships. Signed limited-edition books are otherwise final sale, except if a book arrives damaged, defective or incorrect.
What is the difference between the book editions?
The Field Edition is a signed copy. The Studio Edition is signed and numbered, with a signed and numbered 8 × 10 in print of Irima 2. The Archive Edition is limited to 50 copies worldwide, signed and numbered, with a signed and numbered 9 × 12 in print of Najin and Fatu in a linen box. The Rhinory Edition is made for the Rhinory Foundation Gala.
Do the prints come framed?
It depends on the piece. Each listing states whether the work is frameless, such as an acrylic print, or framed. Questions about presentation? Get in touch and we will advise.
What is an edition?
Each image is produced in a strictly limited edition. Once the edition is sold out, it is never reprinted.
Can I see a piece before buying?
Yes. Contact the studio to arrange a viewing or a video walkthrough.
